Trying To Stay Awake
Spotify: Apple Music: Background: After been doing a long series of collaborations which I am still doing I decided that it was time to release some solo material - mainly because its a lot faster to make and I enjoy being able to create a release exactly how I picture it. I think it's a very fun dreamy track but it still has some kind of element of a chorus although there are no vocal parts at all in this. I made this track 2018 but its gone under a lot of revisions to get to the point where it is now and the only thing that remains from the original version is the opening riff. I originally made it about somebody in my life who turned out to be very toxic and how I was very frustrated with them. Fun Fact: This is my first solo release and my first to feature one of my favourite synths the Surrealistic MG-1+. It is also my longest song so far.
